Its length reaches 185 kilometers of the route along the coast, but today we want you to discover stage 17 of the Camí de Cavalls: Cala’n Porter- Binissafúller.

The Camí de Cavalls is a historical path that was used to defend Menorca and its coast in the 14th century. In 2010, this emblematic trail was opened to the public, becoming part of the European Long Distance routes. Although it consists of 20 stages, 10 on the north coast and 10 on the south coast, it is possible to discover different points and secrets of Menorca by doing all of them one by one. The hotel, located at the origin of stage 17, in Cala'n Porter, reaches another of the Menorcan municipalities crossing part of the south coast.

With a distance of 11.8 km, stage 17 of the Camí de Cavalls takes approximately 4 and a half hours to reach Binissafúller. This section crosses the most impressive ravines in the south of the island and runs along flat paths with easy difficulty, suitable for beginners.

This route is part of many of the activities that can be carried out from the Paradis Blau, given its strategic position, in an area that enjoys the sea and vegetation. From this point of El Camí de Cavalls, the route continues until reaching the Calascoves ravine, at whose feet there is a beach made up of more than ninety caves between cliffs. It is the Talayotic necropolis, whose most historical and cultural cave, Es Jurats, is a sanctuary from the imperial Roman era.

From here, after passing Cala'n Porter, the landscape opens up between olive groves until reaching, after 3 kilometers, the Es Canutells ravine, surrounded by elm trees. At this point, we will be halfway there.

Continuing along the path, we arrive at the Binidalí road, crossing the Biniparratx ravine. Stage 17, nearing completion, ends in Binisafúller, where the path makes its way to a small cove worthy of a stop, Es Caló Blanc, one of the most impressive in Menorca.
